Now, tie a bow and glue the patterned paper to the centre of the kraft paper rectangle.
Cut a narrow strip (e.g. 1.5 cm wide) out of the white crafting paper and write a kind saying or simply ‘Congratulations on the christening’ on it. If you like, you can cut a triangle into the strip on the left and right.
Finally, attach the strip to the centre with two adhesive pads to complete your christening card.

Sheets of foam paper in pastel colours and white
A small piece of cardboard
A fine-tipped pen
A pencil, a pair of scissors & glue
How to make this christening card
Fold the card down the centre if it is not already folded and put it to one side.
Draw a rainbow and clouds of different sizes on a piece of cardboard. Alternatively, you can print out the design, cut it out, transfer it to the cardboard and then cut out all the pieces individually.
Use your cardboard templates and place the individual parts on the different coloured foam paper, outline the shapes with a pencil and carefully cut out the parts.
Now, assemble the rainbow on the front of the christening card. It doesn't matter if the bottom edges don't line up exactly. These will be covered by the clouds later. When you are happy with the layout, stick everything down.
Next, glue the clouds in place. You can place a smaller cloud on top of a larger one to enhance the 3D effect.
Use a fine-tipped marker to write a heartfelt christening saying or congratulations, such as ‘Happy Christening’, under your rainbow to complete your christening card.
