When I see people on the street wearing my clothes, that's a special moment for me. I feel like I’ve succeeded.
“C&A takes full responsibility for its products and communicates this very openly. Whether it’s about the people, the environment or trading – everything is managed with a great deal of consideration. Here, C&A does an outstanding job as a pioneer within the fashion industry. As a Designer I also have a lot of responsibility within this process. I am like a detective, looking for materials from suppliers that meet our standards. Items that don’t fit our philosophy are not meant for our stores. Beyond that, of course I am always looking for new trends that blend into our collections. And as there are always new developments, it never gets boring. I look forward to every single day at C&A”
Whitney (33), Design Woven's Blouses
For almost 180 years, C&A has been designing fashion for the world's largest catwalk: the street.
Quality, safety, wearability – C&A sets standards in a range of areas!
Discover what we stand for:
We think about our customers – and about the environment. That's why we have been the world's largest buyer of organic cotton clothing for several years.
All of our clothes contain passion and a lot of work. No one “works by numbers” here – we all want to achieve the best possible design results for our customers.
Naturally we only use the best materials that feel great against your skin. But our concept of quality starts much earlier, when we develop the cuts and designs. We don’t just make fashion for catwalk models – we make fashion for all ages, all heights, and all types of figure!
The future offers countless opportunities - don't just use them, help create them!
Design and creativity are in the spotlight, ruling C&A’s current collections and day-to-day work.
By 2020, two-thirds of our collections will consist of sustainable materials such as 100% organic cotton.
In the future
We want to embed the regenerative system of the circular economy in the fashion industry. Our vision: a world where clothes are not disposable, but instead are turned into new products at the end of their life cycles.
Your impact one year after you started at C&A:
At C&A we’re fashion pioneers at heart – today as yesterday.
One of the world's largest buyers of organic cotton
