C&A Europe is expanding its ‘We Take it Back’ apparel collection programme to Belgium, Luxembourg and Switzerland. Consumers in these countries can now bring the clothes and shoes they don’t want to wear anymore to their favourite C&A store to give them a new life. In return they will receive a 15% discount voucher for the purchase of their next favourite C&A item .
Dusseldorf, Germany, 30 November 2017 - Global fashion retailer C&A has saved about 133.8 billion litres water through sourcing more sustainable raw materials. This equals the annual freshwater consumption of more than 800,000 households as reported by the Textile Exchange Fibre Market Report.
C&A again takes first place as the world’s largest user of certified organic cotton in Textile Exchange’s 2017 Preferred Fiber and Materials Market Report. In 2016, 33 percent of the cotton pieces sold by C&A were made of certified organic cotton.
