Dusseldorf, 25 March 2020 – The launch of the first recycled swimwear collection emphasises C&A’s vision to establish sustainability as the new normal. By making a commitment to use more recycled materials throughout different product segments, the fashion retailer is positioning itself once again as one of the leaders in sustainability. The women’s styles are made with recycled nylon, while part of the men’s collection is made with recycled polyester fabricated from plastic bottles. The swimwear collection will be highlighted with the #WearTheChange tag, C&A’s label for more sustainable products and initiatives.

Dusseldorf, 14 February 2020 – C&A is phasing out the sale of single-use plastic bags in all of its more than 1,400 stores across 18 countries in Europe. As of March 2020, the fashion retailer will introduce the durable ‘bag-for-life’, made of 80% recycled PET which will withstand many shopping trips. When worn out, it can be returned to any C&A store and exchanged for a new one free of charge.
