How we report sustainability
We report our progress annually against the Global Sustainability Strategy, which serves as our overarching sustainability framework and provides a set of global goals to guide each retail market — Europe, Brazil, Mexico, and China. To ensure the greatest positive impacts, the retail markets select specific sustainability goals based on their local contexts and materiality assessments, in support of the 2028 Sustainability Strategy. Some C&A retail markets also publish their own sustainability reports to share performance towards their locally relevant goals.
The Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Standards, UN Global Compact (UNGC) principles, UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and the OECD Due Diligence guidelines provide the frameworks for our global reporting. However, C&A retail markets might report against other standards to comply with local requirements and address local stakeholder interests.
