We're seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Real Estate Legal Counsel.


As a key member of our legal department, you will provide expert legal advice and support on a wide range of real estate transactions and projects. Depending on your professional interests and qualifications, you could also take over other exciting projects.

How You'll Contribute

  • Advising on Real Estate Transactions: Provide legal advice on all aspects of real estate transactions, such as leases, and development projects, with a particular focus on the CEE markets.
  • Contract Drafting and Negotiation: Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and other legal documents related to real estate transactions.
  • Due Diligence: Conduct thorough due diligence to ensure compliance with local laws, regulations, and the underlying contractual relationship, identifying potential legal risks and providing solutions to mitigate them.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all real estate transactions comply with Austrian laws and regulations, as well as those in the CEE markets, staying up-to-date with changes in legislation and industry standards.
  • Stakeholders Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners, providing tailored legal advice and solutions to meet their specific needs.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other legal professionals, real estate agents, and financial advisors to ensure seamless execution of real estate transactions.
  • Side Projects: Participate in exciting side projects within our constantly changing business environment.

What You Bring

  • A degree in law, with a specialization or significant coursework in real estate law.
  • A minimum of 3-7 years of experience in real estate law, preferably within the CEE markets.
  • In-depth knowledge of real estate law in Austria and the CEE region, including property rights, land use regulations, and real estate financing.
  • Good level of real estate market understanding.
  • Proficiency in English (C1) and German (B2). Any other Eastern European languages would be a nice-to-have.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex legal concepts in a clear and concise manner.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy in all legal work.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and build strong internal and external relationships.
  • A customer-oriented approach.
  • A high degree of professionalism, integrity, and ethical standards.

The minimum salary for this full-time position is EUR 60,000 gross per year. But this is just a formality - we would be happy to discuss your actual salary in person!
