About this role:  

We are seeking a highly motivated Working Student (m/f/d) - Digital Product Designer to join our growing design team. As a Working Student (m/f/d), you will be responsible for supporting the design and development of user-centered designs, ensuring a seamless user experience for our products. The ideal candidate (m/f/d) is passionate about design, has a basic understanding of user-centered design principles, and is eager to learn and grow in a collaborative environment.

Your responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Cross-functional Teams: Work closely with product managers, engineers, and marketing teams to ensure design feasibility and alignment with business goals
  • Assist in User Research: Conduct user interviews, surveys, and usability tests to gather insights on user needs and preferences
  • Support Design Development: Collaborate with senior designers to create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes using design tools such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe XD
  • Participate in Design Reviews: Attend and contribute to design critiques and brainstorming sessions, offering fresh perspectives and feedback
  • Update Design Documentation: Maintain and update design documentation, including style guides, design specifications, and user journey maps
  • Manage Design Assets: Organize and maintain a library of design assets, ensuring version control and accessibility for the entire team

What you bring

  • Currently enrolled in a relevant degree program (e.g., Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science)
  • Basic understanding of product design principles
  • A portfolio that demonstrates an interest in user-centered design and visual design
  • Familiarity with design and prototyping tools such as Figma
  • Understanding of design principles, information architecture, and interaction design
  • Willingness to learn and participate in user research methods and usability testing
  • Good communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
