This is your chance to join the C&A team as License Manager! You take responsibility for the management of all licenses. Recommend and establish the license strategy, processes, and procedures that are consistent with corporate policy, IT project requirements and sound commercial, legal and ethical practices. Responsible for the systematic execution of processes and procedures for the timely and cost-effective purchasing of licenses.

Your responsibilities

  • Plan IT licenses for business application and system software considering business and IT requirements as well as the IT solution lifecycle.
  • Procure the required licenses aligned with IT contract management and IT procurement.
  • Administration of IT licenses in a central database including existing license agreements (Audit Safe).
  • Provide evaluations and statistics on existing IT licenses in order to ensure expectations are fulfilled.
  • Manage the full cycle of all license purchases, agreements and contracts from initiation to completion.
  • Responsible for securing license and contract compliance.
  • Coordinate with Asset Management to ensure effective inventory management.
  • Responsible for audit-proof license administration to avoid penalties and risks for the company.
  • Responsible for timely provision of necessary licenses as a basis for the provision of IT services.

What you bring

  • Extensive knowledge of IT asset and license management across IT service areas.
  • Extensive knowledge in the areas of IT purchasing, contract negotiation, and contract management.        
  • Ability to understand business needs and committed to deliver high-quality, prompt, and efficient service to the business.
  • Ability to understand organizational mission, values, and goals.
  • Respectful, tactful, and diplomatic approach during frequent interactions with executives.
  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or related field, or equivalent work experience
  • 3-5 years of business experience in cloud license management.
  • 3-5 years of business experience in SaaS asset management.
  • 3-5 years of business experience in perpetual license asset management.
