We’re looking for a hands‑on Test Manager to own validation across complex, integrated platforms. You will define and run the test strategy, orchestrate test data & environments, drive defect triage, and provide crisp, risk‑based quality reporting to leadership. Success means faster, safer releases with measurable improvements in defect leakage, cycle time, coverage, and business readiness.
Your responsibilities
- Aligning with Business Process Owners and SI/partners on scope, readiness, and sign‑off; surface quality risks with clear business impact.
- Recommend a risk‑based test strategy; align entry/exit criteria, Definition of Ready/Done, and sign‑off checkpoints to the testing coordinator.
- Build and maintain the test suite (process variants, integrations, controls, non‑functionals).
- Align with Business Process Owners, Engineering Leadership and SI/partners on scope, readiness, and sign‑off, surface quality risks with clear business impact.
- Establish test KPIs (coverage, pass rate, severity mix, MTTR, leakage) and cadence for reporting to PMO and sponsors.
- Test Status consolidation and escalation on Tech Program Level
- Create, update and execute test manual and automated test cases
- Plan, schedule, and run test cycles; coordinate workstream/system teams and business SMEs for execution and sign‑off with the testing coordinator.
- Lead defect management & triage (severity, ownership, SLA, root cause, retest) and drive cross‑team resolution to closure.
- Ensure traceability from business requirements → test scenarios → evidence → acceptance decisions.
- Coordinate the test data strategy (synthetic vs. masked production, provisioning, refresh, privacy/compliance) and data readiness per cycle.
- Integrate non‑functional testing (performance, security/authorization, failover, batch/throughput, usability).
What you bring
- 6–10+ years in testing/QA with 3+ years managing test cycles across multi‑system programs.
- Proven experience orchestrating SIT/E2E/UAT with partners and business teams; strong defect triage leadership.
- Deep understanding of business process value streams (O2C, P2P, H2R, R2R) and integration points (APIs, middleware, jobs).
- Strong command of test management & ALM tools and requirements traceability practices.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and risk reporting to senior leadership.
- SAP ecosystem (e.g., S/4HANA, BW/Analytics, CPI/PO), plus POS/e‑commerce, selling and logistics.
- Performance/security testing coordination; data masking/privacy controls.
- Bachelor’s in computer science/engineering/information systems or related field (or equivalent experience).
- ISTQB/TMMi, SAFe/Agile certifications a plus.
