As a Category Manager Logistics, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the logistics procurement strategy within the Indirect Procurement function. You will bridge operational execution with strategic development and collaborate closely with Supply Chain stakeholders, internal business partners, and external vendors to drive value, ensure compliance, and support the delivery of cost efficiency and service excellence.

Your responsibilities
- Support the development and lead the execution of category strategies for logistics in alignment with business stakeholders.
- Identify and implement sourcing initiatives that deliver cost savings, service improvements, and sustainability benefits.
- Manage mid- to high-complexity tenders and negotiations with logistics vendors.
- Act as a key point of contact for stakeholders to ensure procurement strategies align with operational needs.
- Monitor supplier performance and lead supplier relationship management activities to ensure continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, P2P processes, and contract management standards.
- Contribute to the development of procurement tools, templates, and best practices to enhance category management maturity.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to the Category Buyer and support cross-functional collaboration within the Indirect Procurement team.
- Deliver accurate and timely reporting on category performance, savings pipeline, and risk management.
What you bring
- University degree in Economics, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 4–6 years of experience in Indirect Procurement, preferably with a focus on Logistics or Supply Chain.
- Proven ability to manage sourcing projects and vendor negotiations with measurable results.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with a hands-on approach to execution.
- Solid understanding of procurement processes, contract management, and supplier performance frameworks.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across all levels of the organization.
- Business fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
