Thousands of migrant children – often unaccompanied by an adult – have set off across the Mediterranean for Italy in 2015. All have come from lands of violence and social disruption. Most arrive traumatized, but alive. C&A together with C&A Foundation is providing support for these migrants through a unique collaboration with Save the Children. Chisom and Nalani are two children who have received much-needed assistance.
When you buy something made with cotton, do you ever wonder where it comes from? What goes into making that quality dress you try on? That shirt you imagine would be perfect to wear to work? The bathrobe you like, the underwear you need, the socks that would go so well with your shoes?
C&A is the world’s largest retailers of organic cotton apparel through our Bio Cotton range. Organic cotton delivers substantial economic and environmental benefits but represents less than 1% of the world’s total annual crop.
On May 5th, C&A hosted its first ever Pan-European Showroom in the Galeries Joseph in the famous Marais quarter. More than 80 editors and bloggers from 19 countries travelled to Paris for presentations of the key themes for AW15, featuring the new collection THE DENIM for women and men and THE STYLE for women. The new collection was showcased in the especially refurbished gallery on three floors with designated areas for THE DENIM, Women, Men and Clockhouse. In addition, bloggers from different countries could browse and try on their favourite pieces in an area especially designed for them.
