Digital Marketplaces Operation Specialist (m/f/d)

The Team:

This is an opportunity to join our amazing Operations and Business Development team of 3 people, sitting within our wider Digital Marketplaces function. 

You will play an integral role in supporting the back-end systems and processes that are the foundation of our Marketplace Operation and our current ERP solution (SAP). If you have an analytical mindset, are adept at financial planning and are able to identify necessary changes to process, then this could be an ideal role for you. 

The Role: 

• Perform and/or review ERP Data records (e.g. shipping IDs) to ensure correct reconciliations for key financial statement line items.
• Financial planning/ performance reviews 
• Support activities in areas related to cash, revenue, inventory analysis with preparation, review and/or approval of journal entries, running reports, SAP clearing, month end closing    
• Drive continuous process improvement building strong relationship and  support with internal & external partners

Useful Experience:

• Experience working with SAP ERP Systems - S/4 Hana would be amazing! 
• Process chain understanding – ideally: Merchandise Flow e2e for Marketplaces
• Basic understanding of Accounting
• Basic understanding of Retail operations  
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to communicate findings and to translate results into future actions to improve the business
