Our Selling & Markets division is one of eight tech areas within C&A and is shaped by many IT and design specialists. We develop creative and innovative in-house IT solutions for our stores to provide our customers with a high-quality shopping experience: mobile app applications, as well as the POS system and related backend implementations.

About the Role
We are seeking a talented and motivated Frontend Engineer (m/f/d) to join our development team. In this role you will be responsible for building and maintaining the components of our software products, being a passionate about developing intuitive and visually appealing interfaces and experienced with modern front-end technologies and frameworks.
Your Responsibilities
- Building high-traffic user interfaces with JavaScript, TypeScript, and React
- Working on the implementation of high-leverage features to optimize UX and customer value
- Cooperating with developers, product managers, QAs, and designers to ship new components and features
- Drafting architectural decisions together with the Engineering Manager and Solution Architect, and exploring new technologies
- Having a direct impact on team processes via regular retrospectives
- Exchanging your knowledge with other developers and being part of our C&A Family
- As Senior you are acting as a mentor to less experienced colleagues, supporting them on their learning journey whilst further developing your own leadership skills
What you bring
- Skilled in HTML, CSS,, JavaScript frameworks (React, NodeJS, etc.) and TypeScript, testing frameworks (Jest), CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Bitrise), and version control (Bitbucket)
- Rich experience in using REST
- Knowledge of server-side JavaScript ecosystem (Node.js) is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and overcome technical and organizational obstacles
- Strong passion for delivering exceptional user experiences and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement
- Good communication and collaboration skills
