Applying to work at C&A means taking advantage of opportunities and looking to the future.

As a new C&A pioneer, you will play an active part in shaping the fashion world of tomorrow, regardless of which department you work in.

This is how the application process works at C&A

  • 1. Find your dream job at C&A

    Our job portal displays our current vacancies. Whether you want to work as a designer, in IT, as a sales assistant in one of our branches, or in the different functions at C&A’s headquarters, you’ll find all available jobs advertised here. Our filter options make your search even easier!
  • 2. Apply directly online

    If you’ve found your ideal job, look for the 'Apply' link at the end of the post. Click on it and you will be redirected to our application portal. First you will need to complete a form. Next, you will have to upload your personal application documents using our tool. Then just submit everything and you're done!
  • 3. We receive your application

    As soon as we receive your application, we will send you an email confirmation.
  • 4. We get to know each other on the phone

    If your application meets the job criteria, we will organise a telephone interview. This is the ideal opportunity to ask each other some initial questions about the possibility of working together.
  • 5. Time to meet face-to-face

    You like us and we like you too! Naturally, our next step will be to invite you to a job interview, where we can discuss further details about the job. The next stage after this first meeting will depend on the entry level and department of the job you have applied for. You might be asked to attend an assessment centre, for example, or we might arrange a second interview.
  • 6. An offer you can’t refuse

    We want you to join our team and make you an official job offer – now it’s on you: want to come on board?
  • 7. Time to celebrate

    You say “yes” and we start preparing everything for your first day with us.

How to apply:

1. Use our application portal

Over 100,000 – that’s how many applications we receive every year. In order to maintain an adequate overview and give all applicants the feedback they deserve, we use an electronic application process. So use our online application system. We ask for your understanding that in the interest of fairness to other candidates, we cannot process applications that reach us via email or by post.

2. REMEMBER TO UPLOAD YOUR APPLICATION DOCUMENTS

Although applying online is the only way to apply to C&A, we still need your application documents. Please upload them directly into our portal as Word or PDF documents. Don’t worry, you can’t miss the upload area, but make sure each file is max. 10 MB.

3. Don’t encrypt your documents

Security is paramount – and that’s true on the Internet too. Nevertheless, we ask you not to encrypt your application documents using a security programme – if you do, our system can’t process your files. Don’t worry, all data will be forwarded to us by our application portal via a secure connection and treated strictly in accordance with GDPR guidelines.

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO HEAR BACK ABOUT MY APPLICATION?
As soon as you submit your application via our application portal, we will send you confirmation that we have received your documents. If we like your application, we will invite you to take part in an initial introductory phone call. This usually takes a couple of weeks. You will definitely hear from us within 4 weeks, however.
WHY WAS MY APPLICATION NOT CONSIDERED?
We review each individual application to find the best candidates for our vacancies. There may be many reasons that we don’t consider you for a job, or the job may already have been taken. If we think you would be a better fit for another job with us, we’ll get in touch – you don’t need to apply again!
I'VE FORGOTTEN MY PASSWORD FOR THE APPLICATION PORTAL! WHAT SHOULD I DO?
Just click on the 'Forgotten password' button in the login area. We'll send you an email with instructions on how to reset your password.
HOW CAN I WITHDRAW MY APPLICATION?
You can see all the applications you have submitted to C&A by heading to your account within our application portal. Click on the 'Job management' tab to open a drop-down menu. Select 'Actions' to be given the option to withdraw individual applications. You can also delete any personal data transmitted to us via our portal.
